Camp Illahee

• JOB DESCRIPTION: Come make a difference this summer! We are looking for mature, caring, responsible adults who love working with children in an outdoor setting. Counselors live in a cabin with campers and teach in one or more activity areas.
• PROGRAM INFORMATION: Our 3:1 camper-to-staff ratio ensures quality programs which include: studio arts (arts and crafts, weaving, woodworking, ceramics, watercolor), trips (kayaking and climbing), waterfront (lifeguard and or WSI certification is a plus), horseback riding, sports (soccer, field hockey, lacrosse etc.), performing arts (drama, dance), marksmanship (archery and riflery) and much more!

Camp Merrie-Woode

• Merrie-Woode is a noncompetitive, high adventure traditional summer camp in western North Carolina. Gain valuable leadership experience while working with a great team of caring individuals in a wilderness setting. We have a ten-week summer program (3 week, 5 week, and 2 week sessions).
• Instructor positions are available: canoeing, kayaking, sailing, swimming, horseback riding (English), archery, landsports, tennis, nature, dance, tumbling, drama, music/chorus, photography, wood working, weaving, ceramics, arts & crafts (training available as needed.) Extensive tripping program: backpacking, climbing, whitewater paddling.
• All staff must be at least 19 years of age or have completed one year of undergraduate study. Room, board, and laundry are included. Internships and college credit is available.

Camp High Rocks

• Camp High Rocks, a private summer camp for boys in Western North Carolina, has openings for male and female counselors for its nine week summer program. We have three sessions, each with 130 campers ages 8 to 16. Each counselor teaches one or more activities during the day. The primary function and obligation of a male counselor is to campers in his cabin group. Applicants for counselor positions must have completed at least one year of college.
