Tripp Lake Camp is a traditional, residential, seven-week, summer camp for girls. We are situated on 260 acres of woods, fields and lakefront. Our camp was established in 1911. We are excited to be celebrating our 100th summer.
We are looking for mature, compassionate individuals with experience, to teach their favorite activity to campers ages 8 to 16. Each counselor specializes in an activity and teaches it throughout the summer.

Group Leader : Be a role model, mentor and friend to a group of 12 to 15 children. Description: Our Internship position is designed to provide students an opportunity to apply and explore knowledge, skills and attitudes developed during their academic experience. The Sheridan School Mountain Campus serves private and public schools from all over the DC/MD/VA area. It's located on the Western slopes of Shenandoah National Park on a 130 acre campus. Instructors are responsible for running a wide range of adventure, environmental, and experiential activities. Average work week runs fairly non-stop from Monday mid-morning to Friday early-afternoon, including a couple evening programs. Usually one weekend a month. May & September being incredibly busy. Must be 21 years of age or older. Previous experience working with youth and outdoor/adventure ed. experience. Solid judgment. CPR and First Aid or WFA (WFR strongly preferred). Forest Lake Camp is a private, residential summer camp located in the Adirondack Mountains of upstate New York, about 10 minutes from Lake George, NY. Forest Lake Camp has been in operation since 1926. We are a brother/sister camp on 411 acres with our own private, spring-fed lake. We run 2, 4, 6, and 8 week sessions over the summer and have about 250 campers (age range 8-15) over this period of time.
We are looking for full and part time summer camp nurses to work at our facility. Safety and healthcare are top priorities at Forest Lake Camp. Candidates must either possess a current Registered Nurse certification, or are working towards certification. Practical experience is necessary. Experience working in a camp, school or recreational setting is helpful, but not required.
Responsibilities include basic health interviews of campers and staff, being on-call for and addressing medical needs and concerns, ensuring compliance with health standards and emergency action procedures. The camp has a good working relationship with a local health clinic for consultations and referrals.
